Rice Cake with Nutella

Ingredients

  • 250 g of Disempre rice
  • 700 ml of whole milk
  • 200 ml of coconut milk
  • ½ cup (tea) of sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup of shredded coconut
  • Nutella to taste
  • 1 beaten egg

Method of preparation

Wash the Disempre rice to remove some of the starch, then mix all the ingredients, except the Nutella and the egg, in a pan and cook until the rice is tender. Stir occasionally so it doesn't stick to the bottom. As soon as the rice is cold, wet your hands, take a piece of rice, put some Nutella and then close it, rolling it up to form a ball. Repeat the procedure and pass the dumplings in the wheat flour, then in the beaten egg, in the breadcrumbs and take it to a pan with boiling oil. Leave until golden, place them on a paper towel to drain the oil and enjoy.
